Discovering Portland: Waterfalls

Today, we ventured over to the Columbia Gorge to check out some of the waterfalls over there.  We actually only hiked enough to see the Multnomah Falls and the Wahkeena Falls.  I gotta say, in my opinion, hiking in Oregon is so much better than AZ!  I prefer the trees and creeks to the cacti and sand.  And its so much cooler!  Even in the nice months (Dec-Mar) in Phoenix, you get so hot after a long hike.  Here it is, mid June and we didn't even break a sweat!  (We were actually shivering a bit because it was quite cool by the falls.)  The falls are AMAZING!  My sister let me borrow her SLR camera for the day and I got some beautiful shots.  I so want one of my own!  Maybe for my 35th birthday next year.  :)
