August/September

August was fairly eventful with a visit from my sister and her family, the kids going back to school, and Ezra's birthday. Jeremiah started his SENIOR year and Alayna is now a freshman. They are at the same school for the first time since 2013. They are both super independent now and we've given them a lot more responsibility at home (cooking, laundry, other cleaning). Jeremiah is actively pursuing employment and pushing us to get his license (that's on Peter because no way do I have the sanity or patience to drive with either child). They are becoming young adults and I pray every day I did enough.

September included two Disneyland trips, Death Cab for Cutie and a trip to Santa Cruz. Not to mention just enjoying the SLOlife here on the Central Coast. Hope you enjoy the photos from the dog days of summer.
