March of Dimes Walk

I have been donating to the March of Dimes pretty much since Jeremiah was born--but this is the first time I participated in the walk and raised money of my own.  It was a great experience.  Jeremiah and I walked together with some friends from nursing school.  Can't wait to do it again next year!

Last weekend, Peter took the kids to a fishing farm for a day of fun and practice catching fish.  It is a place where the fish are bred and every child WILL catch one.  Alayna caught two small fish and Jeremiah caught one huge one.  He even won a 2nd place trophy in his age group for the biggest fish.  He was pretty proud of himself.  And, even though our family isn't too fond of fish, Peter cooked up the fish to share at a neighbor's pot luck dinner.  According to everyone there, it was pretty good!

Maybe now that they've learned some good techniques, they can go REAL fishing.
