October's Over

I'm not really sure why I still try to keep up with this blog. Facebook and Instagram kinda make it obsolete. But, for some reason, I feel like it's a better place to record these memories. Anyway. It's been over a month since I've posted. We've all been very busy with school and work. The house is a disaster. Our days are hectic. So, October didn't consist of a lot of family time, but we did get some. Here's a recap of the month:

Kids have been making "easy" dinners a couple times a week. Mostly, those dinners that just require reheating on the stove or in the oven. Here's Alayna frying some tortillas for tostadas.

Our friends Evan and Laurel came to visit!

I went to Vegas to visit Jill.

I also went to Disneyland (yes, again).

Pumpkin carving party

Much of this month was spent at school or studying. So, here are a couple pics of my commute and my favorite study spot.

My first IV start!

Peter and the kids went to Santa Cruz (I had to stay behind with the pup).
Jeremiah caught his first wave on his first surfing excursion. He's hooked!

Visits with Portland (now Santa Cruz) peeps.

Carving new pumpkins to replace the rotten ones.

Pooch

Halloween was thrown together at the last minute in our house. Alayna was an 80s girl and Jeremiah was a mouse dressed up as Batman (basically, a mouse with a Batman cape). I didn't get any shots of Jeremiah because I failed to grab one before my phone died. My bad.

And, that's October in a nutshell. So, now I guess it's 'tis the season!
