Yes, I know I have not updated the blog in awhile, but that is because there's not much to tell. I do update the weight watcher, but that's about it. The swallow study was really just another wasted appointment because they did not offer anything that we did not already know. He still needs thickened liquids and he needs feeding and speech therapy.
Summer is upon us and I am already getting cabin fever from having to stay inside so much. The kids are bored, and I can't even take them swimming because there is no way I can handle all three of them at the pool. So, we're inside and the TV is on a lot longer, as are the video games. Alayna can sit down for an art project, but J has a hard time staying focused for one. So, I just try to keep them separated throughout the day, which is just as well because they do not play well together at all.
Ezra smiles more and is rolling from side to side. That's about all thats new. He is still in the low tens. I think he's about 10 lbs, 2 oz now.
We never got a result from his ECG last week; if something was terribly wrong, I am sure the doctor would have called us. Otherwise, he's probably waiting until the real appointment to talk about Ez's heart issue (he has a dilated aortic root--we've known this since the NICU). For the time being, I think we're just monitoring it every six months with an ECG.
Neurology and GI are in two weeks. Perhaps there will be more to share after those appointments.
Till then, I updated the pictures. Still can't catch Ezra smiling because when he sees the camera he just stares at it. He refuses to smile no matter what we do. And then when I take it away, all smiles. Little bugger.
Please keep his feeding issues in your prayers. He doesn't eat at all anymore.
Love to you all!
(P.S.: HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!)
