Ezra has remained in the hospital the past 3 days and will be there at least through tomorrow afternoon. He's having some issues getting off oxygen and they cannot send him home until he is breathing well on his own. What's happened is that a few air sacks in his lungs have collapsed, so its making it difficult for him to draw in deep breaths and get enough oxygen. This may have been present before the surgery...after all, a few weeks ago, a pulmonologist did say he would benefit from oxygen at home. I just hope that they can figure it out so he can come home!!!
