2021 Round Up -- October, November and December

2021 was a complete blur, mostly because of covid and all the weirdness it brought with it. Other than our trip to Texas, October was relatively uneventful. Some wine tasting, dinners with friends and the usual hikes and beach walks.

November meant a trip to Disneyland for me, as well as a trip to Santa Cruz. And, still more hikes and beach walks and hanging out with our small pod of friends we know are being safe with covid precautions (boosted, still wearing masks).

Someone is ONE!

December was a busy month! We had a small gathering with our covid-pod people to celebrate the holidays. I made the switch back to night shift and was "on my own" in the NICU. Alayna turned 17 (that got its own post). Peter and I went to see some live music in LA. My sister Jill came to visit. We enjoyed Christmas the best we could, without Jeremiah or our usual family gatherings. Peter and Alayna did spend a couple days in Antioch while I had to work. Peter and I both worked the New Year holiday and Alayna stayed at a friend's house. And, POOF, just like that, it's 2022.
