Well, our girl celebrated another year. We had a low-key celebration, dinner out at one of her favorite restaurants with my parents followed by cupcakes for dessert at our house with a few of her friends. This young adult of ours. She's such a treasure. We could not be more proud of the person she is becoming each year. She's so smart, funny, kind, compassionate and creative. She is not without her flaws, but her goodness shines so freely, it can be easy to overlook them most of the time.
Happy 17th Birthday to our Alayna!
