Happy Birthday Peter!

What a blessing this year that Peter's mom and brother could be here to celebrate his birthday!  I had school today, so I didn't get to participate in the festivities, but I did get to cook him dinner and make an apple crisp.

Just have to say how blessed we are that Peter is the forefront of our family, with Christ as our foundation.  He is such a kind, generous, patient, loving, respectful, hard-working, engaged, attentive, wonderful man.  I honestly don't think God has ever created a man quite so wonderful (as Jesus wasn't "created"....).  He lives up to his name--he is truly the rock of our family!  He has been an amazing support since I went back to school 4 years ago, and especially since I started the nursing program.  He's been working and picking up the slack with the kids and around the house.  He is so involved with his children and so good to me.  I don't deserve him, but thank the Lord every day that he's my husband.

Today, he did some mountain biking and went to a hockey game.  Tomorrow, he's going snowboarding.  He's another year older, but still so much like the 22-year-old I fell in love with all those years ago.  I love him more every day!  Happy Birthday Peter!  I am so glad you were born!!!
