Peter and I LOVE fondue. Our FAVORITE restaurant is
La Fondue in Saratoga, CA--it is 100 times better than The Melting Pot; just look at the menu...so much to choose from. Yes, its expensive, but its worth it for a special occasion. We've been there 3 times in 10 years. We are long overdue for a visit (honey....). ANYWAY--since it is so expensive to eat out, we knew we wanted to be able to make it at home. A fondue set was probably the first thing we scanned when we registered for wedding gifts (thanks Bob and Susie Brown for getting it for us!). We realized that we hadn't made it at home in a few of years and decided that that was NOT acceptable. So, tonight was the night! The kids don't have much experience with fondue, so it was entertaining to see try it. After awhile, they got the hang of it and we had a fun and tasty fondue feast!
The feast!

Taking a dip.

J LOVED it!

A, not so much

Daddy and J

I allowed myself a little taste.

(I am still having trouble digesting "real" food, so I couldn't eat much. But, it was delicious! Hope I don't regret it later.....)

I don't know how I missed this. Looks good. Alayna's face cracks me up.
Miss and Love you all
Fun! I really want to get a fondue set. We only go out for fondue for special occasions since it is so expensive(but always so worth it!) but when you make it at home and can personalize your options, so much fun and affordable!! :)
