1 YEAR OLD!!!

The Little Man is 1 year old! WOW. And I say this not just because he is more like a 3-4 month old but because, WOW, what a year. Ezra has overcome SO much in his short life. And he still faces many battles in the future. He’s an incredible little baby. Not many of us full-grown people could endure all that he has and still have the will to survive…and with a precious little smile on his face at that. Ezra means “help” in Hebrew. The Prophet Ezra was a great help to his people during the reconstruction of the Temple in Jerusalem. He brought those that had been exiled back to their home. Much like our little Ezra brought us a spiritual renewal with his birth. He brought us closer to the Lord in prayer and with praise. He strengthened our faith in the Almighty God. In all His might and wonder, He has led us through these difficult times over the past year. Even when we were not faithful to Him, He remained faithful to us. We know that Ezra is a miracle, and not in the sense that every baby is a miracle, but in the actual sense of a true-blue miracle. His life only confirms our belief in a Creator and a Savior! The Lord has graced us with doctors and therapists and nurses and family and friends who have given of their time and knowledge and energy to help Ezra through his struggles. I thank Him for them all every day! We are incredible blessed.
