May, June and July

Lots of go, go, go the past couple months. I've been so ready for a slow down. But, it was a great summer and we really enjoyed our quality time with the kids and each other while we still have it!


May was a relatively "slow" month", but included two Disneyland trips and a visit to LA for my grandmother's birthday.

June meant my birthday and I opted for a long-overdue trip to Portland. Alayna joined me because Peter and Jeremiah had to stay behind for work/summer school obligations. We had a blast. I would move back there in a heartbeat, if the right circumstances presented themselves. I also took a solo trip to Santa Cruz to visit my friend Corie. That about wraps up June.

July started off with a trip to Vegas. It was fun because both sisters and my parents were there and we all celebrated the forth of July together, along with my a couple of aunts and uncles and cousins. It was a great time. After a brief stop at home for a few days of work, we went to LA for a couple days to see Five Iron Frenzy. Then, another few days of work before Peter and Jeremiah left for a guys trip to Santa Cruz. Finally, the last weekend of July, Peter and I enjoyed an anniversary trip to Temecula while the kids stayed with my parents.
