Oahu 2018 -- Snorkeling, Luau and a Final Aloha

Friday was our last full day in Oahu. Did I mention our flight was a whole day delayed, so we didn't arrive until after 1am on Monday? We were suppose to arrive Easter Sunday around noon. Good thing I didn't make any plans for that day. But, we didn't like losing a whole day, especially because we "lost' Monday due to heavy rain. Anyway, on day five, we planned a late morning/early afternoon snorkeling tour followed by a farewell luau. It seemed like the proper way to bid adieu to the island. Our plane was going to leave at noon on Saturday. The week went by so quickly. Because of the delay, the airline offered us a $500 voucher for a future trip. Peter and I are hoping to go back some time early in 2019 to celebrate me getting my BSN. Not sure which island yet, but either the Big Island or Kauai. No kids next time!
Again, I'm so pleased we were able to share this experience with the kids. I'm hoping they remember it forever. Aloha!

Nothing like a flat tire on your last full day of vacation..

Ready to snorkel!

Such blue water--No filter!
