We took the kids to Oahu for their spring break and we had an amazing time. This will be an explosion of photos from our adventures, which included hiking Diamondhead volcano, an excursion to North Shore, beach time, a luau and a few from snorkeling (didn't have a waterproof case). I'm glad we waited until the kids were this age to go because it will be an experience they will likely always remember. Since there are over 200 photos from this trip, I decided to break it up into 4 different posts. Starting with Diamondhead, a local beach spot, and a few shots from the VRBO where we stayed in Waikiki, which only a couple miles away. Our condo had great views of Diamondhead itself. The hike is well worth the amazing views. A typical tourist spot (super crowded), but a must see if you visit Oahu.
On our way!
Aloha!
Sunrise the second day
We were two blocks from this spot
Sunset, night one
Day Two: Diamondhead
(I know, lots of urn shots. We scattered some ashes at a few spots on Diamondhead.)
After Diamondhead, we went to explore one of the local beaches. It was an offbeat spot and wasn't crowded at all. The views were breathtaking. I did not want to leave.
