Alayna is in 5th grade. She was devastated when she found out NONE of her close friends were in her class, nor did she get the teacher she was hoping for. Alas, she adores her teacher and still sees her other friends a lot. And, is starting to make a few new ones.
Jeremiah is in 8TH GRADE. Let's just say that I still have some poetry I wrote in 8th grade and what a bad case of teenage angst I had and I pray for my son DAILY that he faces the next 5 years with confidence and faith.
Both kids are adjusting well. They have a lot more independence this year, mostly out of necessity due to our schedules, but they are handling it well. We are looking forward to another great year of learning!
