So, as if things weren't crazy enough over here, we decided to throw caution to the wind and adopt a puppy this past weekend. The opportunity presented itself and after some prayer and consideration, we decided it was as good a time as any to add a little furball to our family. We adopted him from a friend of mine. We're keeping the name she gave to him because he's used to it and it suits him. So, ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to Tobias: Toby for short!
Isn't he adorable?!?! He's a beagle/chihuahua mix. He's 7 months old. He's playful, friendly, and super affectionate. The kids, especially Alayna, are over the moon about him. Actually, we're all quite smitten with him. We understand he needs some adjustment time (as do we), but we're sure we made a good choice taking him in at this time.
We're so excited for the adventures to come!

What a cute little fellow! He's a perfect size for an indoor dog. At 7 months, is he housebroken yet? That would be nice if you could skip that part of puppy-hood. Enjoy!
