Summer 2013: WEEK 4 (RCP Family Camp Edition)

SUNDAY -- Drove from LA to the Santa Cruz mountains.  We decided to take PCH, which turned a 6-hour drive into an (almost) 9-hour drive.  It was beautiful and worth it once we reached RCP.

MONDAY -- Spent the morning in Bible study and prayer and then off to Santa Cruz for the day.  Peter and the kids 'winded down' with a little laser tag in the evening while I got my internet fix in the lodge.

TUESDAY-- Camp fun!  Swimming, bingo, laser tag, arts and crafts, etc.  And lots of great sermons and quiet time to refocus our thoughts and spirits.

WEDNESDAY -- Today's highlights were the climbing wall, ropes course, and space party.  Alayna and I weren't feeling great, so we didn't get to go to the party.  We only have one photo of J at it.

THURSDAY -- Today's fun was archery and bottle launching.  The pool pump broke, so no swimming, but since it cooled off (a high of 79), it wasn't so bad.  Last full day of camp.

FRIDAY -- Loooooooong (uneventful!) drive back to Portland.

SATURDAY -- Grocery shopping, laundry, and cleaning the house.  Pretty boring.  Jeremiah and Peter went to a skateboard thing while I did all of the above (and got a hike and bike ride in).  No photos.
