9 Days of Fall Break!

Fall Break comes a little later here in OR.  The kids have the entire Thanksgiving week off from school, rather than early October like in AZ.  Since I still have school and Peter still has work, we can't go anywhere, but we are determined to do something fun every day this week.  Today, is DAY ONE!

We went to the "Do-It-Yourself" Fair at Imago Dei.  Several years ago, Imago started a Ministry called "Advent Conspiracy" which is about taking the consumerism out of Christmas.  You can read more about it on the website, but it is an amazing ministry that we have been giving to for the past several years, even before we were apart of the Imago Dei Community.  The fair consisted of booths showing how to make gifts for people this holiday.  We will be utilizing several of the ideas we learned there to make gifts for our family and friends this season.  It was a fun morning!
