New neighborhood, new school, new teachers, new kids (which hopefully means new friends). It's here! The first day of school! And its like none other. Not just because we live in a new house, but also because this one means NO kids will be at home between 7:45 and 2:45 Monday thru Friday. Its a new era for all of us. J started 3rd grade today and Alayna started Kindergarten!!! Can you believe it?! Its SOOOOO trite, but they grow up SO fast! But, we are so excited for them. Their teachers are both really nice and we can't wait to see how they do this year. Of course, this brings the memory of Ezra right to the forefront. The house will be so empty, and I know I will be wondering what it would be like if he were here, about to be turning 3 (on Friday). Oh, how much we miss him. But, I digress. Back to the first day of school.
We were all up by 6:30. School starts earlier in this district then it did in our old district, so the mornings are going to be a bit more hectic. But, we were ready and out the door by 7:30 (school starts at 7:55 here). We took pictures with their teachers, gave them kisses, and sent them off for their day. We were all smiles. No tears on this first day of school. (We'll have to see how they are when we pick them up at 2:45....not worried about Jeremiah, but I am afraid Alayna may have a meltdown or two.) And so it begins.....

No tears for this Kindergartener; just LOTS of excitement!

How exciting! I am terrified for the day when I have to send Logan off to Kindergarten...luckily I have some time to get used to the idea! I'm glad it went smoothly for everyone :)
