Peter's Mom arrived last night for a 5 day stay with us. We are so excited that she gets to spend part of spring break with us. We started off strong today with a visit to the Renaissance Fair! I LOVE this fair....we had a great time. It is so much fun to walk around and see all the people dressed up, both employees and patrons! We actually watched several shows this year, which we hadn't done with the kids before. The jousting was spectacular and we really loved the guy that played the carillon (see photo below). After the fair, Mom took the kids to a buffet dinner and Peter and I got a date night! We ate dinner and saw Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton is a visual genius!). All things said and done, I'd say day one of spring break was a complete success! :)

Pirate Boat ride

Butterfly ride (her last one)
